LEGOLAND-FL-01

LEGOLAND Florida.
Master Builders, Unite!

Hubs and my girls are LEGO fanatics. My husband was a LEGO kid growing up and both of our girls have grown with LEGOS. While our girls had visited LEGOLAND in Toronto, they always dreamed about going to LEGOLAND Florida. Last month, we had the chance to make that dream come true and we packed up our day bag and headed to LEGOLAND!

If you are going to be visiting Florida, you have to make sure that LEGOLAND, FL is one of your stops. You can get tickets for the whole family at discount with KGSTickets.com. Ticket prices start at $64.00 for one day and $79.00 for 2 day passes. The water park is only open from April 12, 2014 until October 26, 2014. You can see all the LEGOLAND passes, here.

LEGO Wonderland!

As soon as we made our way through the entrance, we were greeted by the bright and vibrant colors of the LEGOS we know and love! The park itself is really big! We took a picture of the girls in front of the LEGO Welcome sign, grabbed our map and planned which route we would take and what we would do first!

Island In the Sky.

Island in the Sky is a 150- foot rotating platform that gives guests a 360° view of LEGOLAND Florida. We went on and picked a seat and saw the amazing view. You can see the LEGOLAND Cypress Gardens which are absolutely gorgeous and so much more sights! The girls enjoyed the nice break and kept pointing and anticipating seeing the park firsthand after our ride.

The Big Shop.

We stopped at The Big Shop to check out all of the new LEGO sets and to pick one out to grab on our way out. We spent quite a lot of time in here since the girls wanted one of everything! It was great to see new products (like the Minecraft LEGOS) and to get out of the heat for a little while. The girls love super heroes so we spent a lot of time exploring that section. It really is a big shop, so be prepared to spend a lot of time in here with the kiddos. We also visited the Mini Figure Market, The King’s Market and LEGO Friends Shop to check out the merchandise. You can check out all the shopping locations before you visit.

Hungry?

After walking around in the sun and having some fun, we had built up an appetite. We wanted something light and some healthier options. We decided to eat at the Market Restaurant. Their prices were about $10.00 per person and came with an entrée, drink, apples and chips. It was a great deal, especially for theme parks. It was also nice to get out of the heat for a while too. You can check out the dining options, here.

Bring On the Fun!

The girls took a few rides on the carousel and then they wanted to visit one of their favorite LEGO characters of all time, Emmet. They are also huge fans of LEGO Friends and they met them all. They were all so friendly and took pictures with the girls. Next on our mapped out route was DUPLO Valley!

DUPLO Valley.

Mimi is obsessed with DUPLO. She was super stoked to visit DUPLO Valley in LEGOLAND. She was in heaven when she went in, there were rides that catered to her, play areas and so much more!

About DUPLO Valley:

The central feature is the DUPLO Train where toddlers can board a train on their own or with their parents to explore countryside-themed scenery passing through farms, fishing holes and campgrounds. Just across the way, toddlers can jump on a tractor just their size and help the farmers plow the cornfields and hunt for missing farm animals. For those looking to cool off, the new splash and play area will be refreshingly fun with intermittent water spouts and interactive water elements set among larger than life farm animals with a soft deck for safety.

Adventure!

We then went to LEGO Kingdoms, World of Chima and Land of Adventures. We explored hidden tombs and hunted for treasure. World of Chima was an immersive family experience with an interactive water ride, The Quest for CHI, a super-charged Speedorz Arena, Cragger’s Swamp water play area, a new 4D movie experience and character meet-n-greet sessions. We had so much fun!

Seriously.

This was by far, one of my favorite places in LEGOLAND, FL. Why? Simply because I am absolutely flabbergasted (and yes, I just used the world flabbergasted) at how many LEGOS there are in one place. Not to mention, I admire the skill that it took all of the master builders to make these replicas. The pirate ships were amazing, New York truly never sleeps and what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas baby. You will also find the Daytona Int’l Speedway, Florida, Kennedy Space Center and California.

LEGOLAND, FL is definitely a must-visit attraction when you visit the sunny state. Great for kids and big kids alike. You can get more information on LEGOLAND by visiting them on their website. To get discount tickets, be sure to visit KGSTickets.com!

Do you have little master builders that would love to visit LEGOLAND, FL?

Let me know, til then–cheers m’deres!
